Operation Terretras, is framed within the integral plan, FIGHT AGAINST CRIME, in the development of the investigation, resolution and prevention of those crimes committed against property in the province of Almeria.
This investigation began in November of last year, as a result of the various complaints filed by the victims, in which the Guardia Civil were informed that there had been numerous robberies committed in homes, establishments (beach bars) and storage rooms in the area of San Juan de los Terreros-Pulpí.

The Guardia Civil personnel in charge of the investigation first gather all the evidence available in the places where the acts are committed, highlighting the great citizen collaboration and security elements installed in some of the places where the robberies are committed, which allows the identification of the perpetrators and the vehicles used.
The Guardia Civil organised different operations to locate the perpetrators of the robberies, this part of the investigation being more laborious, given that they are all residents of the municipality of Águilas.
As a result of the operation, the Guardia Civil cleared up a total of 31 burglaries committed in homes (2), establishments (2) and storage rooms (27) in the municipality of San Juan de los Terreros-Pupí and arrested 7 people and investigated another 6 (6 of them minors) as the perpetrators. In addition, they also recovered part of the stolen objects, including 4 bicycles and toolboxes valued at more than 10,000 euros.
The proceedings are placed at the disposal of the Dean of the Courts of Huércal Overa.
