It is not the first time that Fines Town Council, through its sports department, has directed its actions towards helping those who need it most.
A small municipality, with a limited budget, which nevertheless, wherever someone requires it, turns its efforts and dedication to collaborate in noble causes.
José Manuel López is the local sports councillor and president of the Villa de Fines club. López, as everyone knows him, is always attentive and willing to lend a hand. On several occasions, for example, he has donated the proceeds of a match to families with children affected by an illness, and there are many people who can vouch for this.

In the same line of work, this past Sunday 8th January, the Fines Sports Department, with the collaboration of the Provincial Council and the Senderos del Almanzora Club, organised a charity walk to help the family of little Ángel, a baby boy from Alboja who suffers from cerebral palsy and who needs care and continuous speech therapy and physiotherapy sessions which costs the family around 850 euros per month.
The result of the event was a great success as more than 200 walkers took part in the initiative, which raised 1,110 euros that will go directly to the account of the clinic where little Ángel is recovering.
