The Villa de Fines women’s indoor football team lost 6-1 in Cadiz this Saturday afternoon against CD Luci Feri Fanum, a match corresponding to the 12th round of the Andalusian Women’s Senior Indoor Football Division of Honour.
The Almanzora team turned up at the Municipal Pavilion of Bajo de Guía in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with only one spare player and three injured members of the squad (Vero, Karen and Nerea), which was the prologue to a game where despite the desire and enthusiasm of the players, it was not enough to bring home any points.
But the truth is that the team coached by Francis Cano has conceded its second consecutive defeat, something unusual. They are losing steam in the fight for promotion, and despite the defeat of leaders Avanza Jaén, they are already in third place at the mercy of their immediate pursuers: Peligros, Luci Feri and Los Palacios are just one point behind.

That’s why the coach has raised his voice in dialogue with La Comarca Noticias, calling for “those of us who are behind this project to take a step forward. There is still time to make signings, to change the dynamic and to fight for promotion. We only have one change against a team that has 12 players. I have nothing to reproach my players for, but it’s very difficult like this”.
