
The Guardia Civil de la Almería Command in two different actions, assists three people victims of a fire in two houses in the municipalities of Macael and Dalías, in the first one, the victim requires medical assistance for smoke inhalation, burns on a leg and anxiety, in the second one thanks to the quick action of the Guardia Civil personnel, no medical assistance is required.
On 24th January this year, a patrol on duty with the Guardia Civil of the Almería Command received a warning from the 062 Command and Control Centre of the Almería Command of the Guardia Civil, alerting them that a fire was taking place in a house in the town of Macael, and went to the scene as a matter of urgency.
After verifying the facts, a woman resident in the house was assisted (with burns on a leg and signs of smoke inhalation), who was later transferred to the health centre, the area was cordoned off and the adjoining houses were evacuated. In coordination with the local police of the municipality, the arrival and extinguishing of the fire by the Poniente Fire Department was facilitated.

In the second action, on 31 January, a patrol of the Guardia Civil de Almería Command, while carrying out surveillance work on farms in the municipality of Celín-Dalías observed a cloud of smoke coming out of a farmhouse-type house, and rushed to the scene, They saw a disoriented woman inside with her youngest child in her arms, so they immediately evacuated her and after checking that they did not require medical assistance and that the fire was coming from an electrical socket, the supply was cut off and with a water hose, located outside the farmhouse, the Guardia Civil personnel were able to put out the fire.
As a result of two different actions, the Guardia Civil of the Almeria Command assisted three people who were victims of fires in a house in the municipality of Macael and a farmhouse in Dalías.
