The Guardia Civil of the Almeria Command carried out 11 inspections in establishments in Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar and withdrew more than 1500 games and toys for infringements against the smuggling law.
These actions are the result of the permanent work carried out by the Guardia Civil to prevent crimes against industrial and intellectual property and the repression of smuggling in the market of games and small toys, clothing and footwear.
In total, eleven inspections were carried out with positive results, for which the corresponding infringement reports were drawn up, withdrawing a total of 1654 games and toys with a value of 4259 euros.

It should be noted that after the first inspections, effects are hidden to hinder the work of the agents, who extend their work to warehouses and premises annexed to the establishments.
The objects found in this type of action are of inferior quality to the originals, lack quality controls and have poor quality screen prints, packaging and wrapping made with stencils and without the consent of the registered trademarks.
The Guardia Civil warns that the purchase of these products can put the health of consumers at risk, entails the loss of rights and contributes to fraud.
