The works included in the Agricultural Employment Promotion Plan in Olula del Río are progressing at a good pace and will allow three works to be carried out which are in great demand by the local residents.
The Square of Venecia Urbanization, a work that is a great claim and a great need for those who live in that area, «whose park was not finished at the time as it should have been. The development was finished, but the square was not, and this caused problems of damp in the houses», explains the mayor, Antonio Martinez Pascual, about the work that will involve a comprehensive action «with a very nice design and a change of furniture».
In the Trina Rull School, work is being carried out in the playground area. «When the children used to go out, the playground was still made of gravel. We are making a functional adaptation so that the ground where the little ones play is suitable for their needs,» adds Pascual.
And thanks to the PFEA, work is also going to be done on the Civil Guard Pavilion to improve the building and, among other things, eliminate damp problems. «The PFEA allows us to carry out works that are in great demand by the local residents, they are small, big works. I have to thank the Provincial Council for helping us to carry them out, and we cannot lose sight of the fact that they generate jobs for the men and women of our town, and that is also a priority for us,» concludes the mayor.
