Comarca del Mármol lost 4-0 to Maavi Roquetas this Sunday at the José Juan Rodríguez de Olula del Río, in a match in which the fans responded but the team was unable to play a good game. The match corresponded to the 12th round of the 2nd Andaluza Almeria Senior League.
The game started with Maavi more dominant and intense in the match, until in the 9th minute they made it 0-1 after a very disputed penalty by the locals which Kevin converted into a goal.
In the 15th minute Javi received a second yellow card after a strong tackle on Francis, and the visitors were reduced to ten men. From this point on the game changed, with the home side clearly dominating the game and Maavi playing with the scoreboard and time on their side. The Comarca had several clear chances such as a shot against the crossbar and a missed penalty before the break, but did not score and in the first half the Roqueteros won by the minimum.
In the second half Comarca del Mármol tried to come back with direct play, with the feeling that they could still take the game, until in the 55th minute Maavi, in the only goal since the 0-1 lead, scored their second goal through Marcial.
From this point onwards the home team collapsed, and for the last few minutes they were unable to play a good game. At this point the game was under absolute domination by the visitors. Thus came the 0-3 (Luchi) in the 71st minute, and the 0-4 was scored by Mario Oyanarte in the 91st minute.
It was a hard blow for Comarca, who went from strength to strength in the match. The team was not accurate and ended up sinking in the last minutes.
The team coached by Miguel Compás is already thinking about the next game, which will serve to change the bad feelings of the second half, and return to the level of play shown during this season.
The good news was the debut of Francis, a youth player who played a great match. With Francis, there are now five players from the youth team who have helped the senior team, which shows the work that is being done in the club’s youth system.
