María del Mar Alfonso Pérez: «Albox is everybody’s business».

María del Mar Alfonso Pérez Albox is everybody's business
La candidata del PP hizo su puesta de largo de cara a las elecciones municipales.

The Popular Party candidate was supported by more than 500 people in the auditorium of the Martín García Ramos Secondary School.

It had been many years since the municipality of Albox had breathed such an air of change. Despite the rain and the cold, more than 500 residents decided to support the Popular Party candidate, María del Mar Alfonso Pérez, who on Friday night made her debut in the run up to the next municipal elections.

Many neighbours and senior officials of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Diputación and mayors of the region, gave warmth to the candidate, showing a massive support with a clear message; Albox can not continue to drift. The municipality needs to grow, develop, regain prominence and get on the train of development and the 21st century. This can only be done by building bridges with the different administrations, working together, in an energetic but cordial way, demanding what belongs to it, but without losing the forms. All the speeches went in that direction, in a positive, constructive manner, which is what the people of Albox need. Uniting instead of separating.

More than 500 residents filled the auditorium of IES Martín García Ramos.

As the candidate said in her presentation speech, «Albox belongs to everyone». Traditions, the elderly, the young, culture, sport, commerce, transport, urban planning, and opportunities, are aspects on which all the residents have a formed opinion «and therefore we have to listen to the different groups».

María del Mar Alfonso Pérez has already laid the first stone to lead Albox towards a future and has brought a project under her arm.

This is a long-distance race with the 28th of May as the first objective. The launch of his candidacy has been such a success that it surprised some of the visitors.

Both the Regional Government of Andalusia’s Minister of Sustainability and spokesman, Ramón Fernández Pacheco and the president of the PP of Almería and the Provincial Council, Javier Aureliano García, made the same suggestion to her, «María del Mar, you should build a new auditorium. You have outgrown this one».
