The Provincial Council of Almeria has opened the doors of the ‘Acelera Pyme Rural Offices’ in the province of Almeria: Macael, Rioja, Benahadux, as expressed by the deputy of European Initiatives, Francisco Alvarez.
In the municipality of Macael is the office that will provide service and advice to the entire region of Almanzora. Those interested can go to Plaza Constitución 1, telephone number for appointments: 660 099 942.
The provincial deputy has stressed that these offices “are one of the great battering rams with which the Provincial Council intend to fix the population in the territory: “We will work together so that inland companies can develop, be more competitive and also increase their opportunities in the market. With this type of action, we help to fix the population in inland municipalities and contribute to generating wealth and employment”.
The Acelera Pyme Rural Office is an initiative promoted through the Next Generation European Funds with the aim of fixing companies in rural areas, strengthening their implementation in the online world, while at the same time boosting the economy of Almeria.
The recipients of this service are small and medium-sized enterprises, including start-ups, freelancers and entrepreneurs based in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the province. The companies that join will receive personalised advice on how to tackle and/or improve their digital business model, as well as the steps to follow to apply for aid for business development and digital transformation.
The Rural SME Office provides face-to-face, virtual or telephone support, analysing each case, studying and carrying out an analysis and diagnosis of digitalisation. Likewise, it prepares a plan and proposes to the interested party how to act and guides them through the process of implementing the digital kit. It also offers informative workshops and networkings.
In addition to the three on-site offices, there are three information points in Vera, Vélez-Rubio and Alhama de Almeróa and the virtual office is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
