The PSOE of Albox has set as priorities, with a view to the management of the future Municipal Government which it aspires to preside, the well-planned urban development and the improvement of access to housing, especially for the younger population. «It is urgent to implement the necessary measures to make people want to stay and live in Albox and to reactivate our economy with more investment,» said the socialist candidate, Mary Trinidad, who believes that the population of Albox could reach 15,000 inhabitants «if the right work is done».
The socialist leader has valued that with a modification of the General Plan and the new sectors, «the municipality would be provided with a greater supply of private land, as well as increasing the land for social, cultural and sports facilities, and for the construction of social housing». «At this time Albox needs a larger housing market, so we will promote the construction of social housing and finish the works that, because of the economic crisis, were left half completed,» she said, as well as her commitment to promote a plan for social housing in advantageous conditions for young people under 35 years, with the aim of building more than a hundred in 4 years.
The PSOE candidate knows that until now Albox has had to develop very large sectors for its urban expansion, which has required a «great investment», she said. Aware that the current times «are different to those years of the property bubble», the socialists of Albox have set themselves the objective of «revising and promoting the development of a new General Plan where the urbanisation sectors are modified, making them smaller and more accessible to small developers» so that «more opportunities are given to Albox and its citizens». «We don’t want sectors with a capacity of 500 homes, but small sectors for a capacity of 50 homes where the urban development costs are affordable,» added Mary Trinidad.

The PSOE of Albox will also promote the development of residential areas «so that families who want to carry out their life project in Albox can do so». «The development we propose will bring with it the creation of new green areas and new social, cultural and sports facilities,» said Mary Trinidad.
