A 58-year-old man was injured when a tractor ran over his knees while he was working on a farm in Campo de Cartagena between the districts of Albujón and Miranda.
The incident took place at 8.03 a.m., when a call from the same company to the Emergency Coordination Centre 1-1-2 Region of Murcia reported the accident, indicating that a tractor had passed over his knees, but he was not trapped.
The Civil Guard and an ambulance from the Gerencia de Urgencias y Emergencias Sanitarias were on the scene, according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Centre consulted by Europa Press.
The 061 medics reported that, once the injured man had been attended to and stabilised, he was transferred to the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena with multiple traumatisms, notifying the emergency room of his arrival. The Inspector of the Institute of Health and Safety at Work (ISSL) was also informed.
