San Javier will celebrate Book Day with the «1st San Javier Local Author Fair» which will bring together more than 30 local authors who have published one or more books of any genre. The Fair will take place on Sunday 23 April, Book Day, in the Plaza de España, San Javier, where from 10:00 to 14:00h, will be all the authors who will present and sign their books, among which coexist novels, essays, theatre, comics, poetry and children’s literature.
The Fair, which returns the celebration of Book Day to the Plaza de España, will have other parallel activities and entertainment for children, with children’s theatre, «La juglaresa», with Judith Arteaga, from La Nena espacio artístico, and a reading points workshop.
The celebration of Book Day will be extended to the whole weekend starting on Friday 21 at 20:00h with «Atrium ConverSeries BSO», in the auditorium of the Multipurpose building, with the Murcian jazz musician, Maxi Garcés, who will play themes from soundtracks of films and series while images from them are projected. On Saturday, the event will take place in the library of San Javier, where the little ones will be invited at 12:00h to see and enjoy the show of the great storyteller and orchestra man, Miguel «Orquestaman».
