The I Fair of local authors of San Javier has highlighted the number of writers in the municipality who have already managed to publish at least one book. The library of San Javier invited them to participate in this initiative in Fair format, which filled the Plaza de España in San Javier with books to coincide with the Day of the Book, yesterday, Sunday 23 April.
There were more than 30 authors, who occupied the stands where they showed, sold and dedicated their books to the hundreds of people who visited the fair during the morning, which successfully closed its first edition.
The Fair offered titles for all ages and genres for all tastes, from novels to poetry, theatre, self-help, comics and essays, among others. The initiative was accompanied by a workshop on reading points and theatre for children, on a day that was once again held in the Plaza de España, outside the San Javier library, which had hosted the Book Day celebrations in recent years.
