The Partido Popular candidate for mayor of Albox, María del Mar Alfonso, received last Tuesday afternoon the visit of the president of the PP of Almería, Javier A. García, who highlighted the important work that the Partido Popular of Albox is carrying out in order to get to govern the municipality and ensure that Albox occupies the place it deserves in the Almanzora.
The president of the PP highlighted the neglect in which the town has been submerged and affirmed that María del Mar Alfonso has surrounded herself with a team of people who are going to turn the town around and make the people of Albox feel proud of their town once again.
The PP candidate has many proposals in her electoral programme to transform Albox during the next legislature. To do this, she will have the support of the institutions where the PP governs, such as the Provincial Council, the Andalusian Regional Government and very soon the Spanish Government.
Among the actions that will soon be carried out in the municipality of Albox thanks to the support of the Diputación, the mayoral candidate highlighted the commitment of Javier A. García to ensure that the Caritas headquarters in the town will soon have air conditioning and a new computer to facilitate the work of the volunteers who do great work to help the neediest families in Albox. In addition, in collaboration with the Bishopric, the entire first floor and mezzanines of the old building of the parish home will be completely refurbished with new enclosures and electrical installations. Likewise, in the parish home, new paving will be laid, the access to the terrace will be improved and the walls will be restored, as well as the old doors with paintings and handles.
The president of the PP also visited together with the popular candidate the pensioner’s home and together they were able to know the demands of the elderly people of Albox. They also strolled through the streets of the municipality and both were able to see the desire for change in Albox, something that Javier A. García is sure will happen on 28th May with the help of María del Mar Alfonso and her great team.
