Seven other secondary roads in the province were affected by the accumulation of water pools and landslides.

The rain has forced the closure of seven roads in the province of Almeria and has partially affected traffic on seven other roads in the secondary network of the province due to the accumulation of water and landslides, with no injuries reported, according to Emergencias 112 Andalucia, a service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Junta de Andalucia.

During the early hours of the morning, the coordination centre has managed a dozen warnings for occasional flooding of ground floors and basements of houses in the province in municipalities such as Pulpí, Los Gallardos, Cantoria and Vera.

The emergency services have also intervened to help the occupants of a car in the river Almanzora in the hamlet of El Alhanchete, another in a ravine in Pulpí and a caravan in Villaricos.

The State Meteorological Agency maintains the orange warning for rain in the regions of Valle del Almanzora and Los Vélez until 9:00 am and in the Levante also for storms and rain with water accumulation of up to 30 litres per square metre.
