The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is maintaining its yellow warnings for adverse weather phenomena for this Monday for rain and storms throughout the southeast, between 11.00 and 22.00 hours.
Specifically, accumulated rainfall of up to 20 litres per square metre in one hour is forecast in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón.
A yellow level storm warning indicates that heavy thunderstorms are expected in the affected warning area. Given the nature of these phenomena, there is the possibility that storms of a higher intensity may occur from time to time.
