Three men aged 56, 59 and 63 years have been injured on Thursday afternoon in Cartagena (Murcia), when a car and a van carrying users of a day centre collided, according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Centre.
The ‘1-1-2’ has received a call at 16.10 hours in which alerted that there had been a traffic accident in the Cartagena district of La Palma and that, as a result, the occupant of one of the vehicles, a man of 63 years, was trapped.
Local police and firefighters from Cartagena were called to the scene to rescue the trapped man, as well as three ambulances from the 061 Emergency and Health Emergency Management Service, two for transport and a mobile emergency unit.
The three injured were taken to the Hospital General Universitario Santa Lucía in the port city.
