The Popular Party of Arboleas and the Union of Independent Citizens -UCIN-, have officially closed today a government pact for the next four years of legislature.
The agreement is for two years for each party; in this way the Popular candidate, José Juan Ramos, will govern for the first two years, while Pepa Rodríguez will govern for the remaining two years.
The PP won 4 seats in the last elections on 28th May and UCIN 2, so the sum of both formations gives an absolute majority to the parties that have reached an agreement, against the 5 councillors obtained by the Socialist party headed by Cristóbal García.
For the first time in the history of democracy in the municipality, the Popular party will govern.
