With the arrival of summer, the problem of accumulated rubbish in different parts of the different municipalities is recurring.
The collection of rubbish and household waste by the consortium, with the support of the town councils, is not effective, as a sector of the population ignores the minimum rules of coexistence.
The rubbish containers are distributed in strategic places, but the problem is all the other rubbish that does not have a final destination in a clean point, but is simply deposited as shown in the image and in the best of cases, close to them so that those responsible for waste management can then take care of them.
The same happens with rubble and construction debris, which can be seen along watercourses and wadis, also as a result of unscrupulous people.
In view of this situation, the collaboration of the neighbours is necessary if we want to keep the villages clean and avoid the presence of rodents.
The Almanzora-Levante-Vélez Consortium has a collection system, where the day of collection is indicated for each of the localities of the three regions, as well as clean points available to the different users.
Without the collaboration of the citizens, the challenge of keeping the towns and villages clean can sometimes seem impossible,
