In the development of the Operation INDALO 134 PALORA, the Guardia Civil of the Command of Almeria arrested three people as perpetrators of a crime against public health for drug trafficking.
The operation began last October 2022, when personnel from the Local Police of Huércal Overa arrested a person driving a vehicle, with falsified number plates, through an industrial estate in the town of Huércal Overa. Hours later, 15 packages each containing 30 kilos of hashish and a lorry prepared for transport were found in a nearby warehouse with the door open. A vehicle belonging to the detainee was also found inside.
Thanks to the existing collaboration and relationship mechanisms between the Guardia Civil of the Command of Almeria and the Local Police of Huercal Overa, the personnel of the Organic Unit of Judicial Police (UOPJ) of the Guardia Civil gave continuity to the first actions.

The Guardia Civil of the Almeria Command, who took charge of the investigation, began a series of investigations and operations that led, in subsequent days, to the interception in the same industrial estate of the driver of a lorry, which looked like a legal transport company, transporting 5 kg of hashish resin and three 300 hp outboard engines commonly used to propel vessels dedicated to illicit activities (narco-boats).
Similarly, the personnel in charge of the investigation determined that two residents of Cantoría and Zurgena acted as leaders of these illicit operations and, in order to stay out of the way, used a third person as a front man for the companies and trucks, as well as different businesses and properties where he appears as the owner.
The Guardia Civil of the Almeria Command concludes the operation called «Indalo 35 PALORA» with the arrest of three people for crimes against public health for drug trafficking, the seizure of 454 kg of hashish, valued on the illicit market at about one million euros and the seizure of three trucks with refrigerated semi-trailers and two high-end cars.
