The municipality of Purchena will live its “I White Night” this Friday, August 11 from 20 hours. Residents can enjoy a variety of activities planned by the municipal government team; live music with Rumba Kimbao, a solidarity bar by all the brotherhoods, mats, a gamer space, a painting workshop and the real protagonists, which are fifteen stores in Purchena and the Almanzora region that will present their latest fashions, accessories and a wide range of products. In addition, a food truck of Mexican and American food, accompanied by Filabres craft beer, will whet the appetite of visitors.
The Councillor for Festivities of the City of Purchena, Isidro Pedrosa, said that “this is the result of the work we are doing since July to promote new activities and recover others that for many years have been key in the fun of purcheneros. I am sure that this White Night will be the starting point to consolidate a day that is designed for people of all ages to enjoy in a unique environment such as the park Juan María Bandrés”.
Sports activities for the festivities in honor of San Ginés
The festivities in honor of the patron saint of Purchena, San Ginés de la Jara, are loaded with sports and cultural activities such as summer cinema, the first Noche en Blanco, soccer tournaments designed for all ages, magic performance, basketball tournament, night bike route, a trail to La Silveria, festival of games for children, the classic purchenero that will face the peñas of Madrid and Barcelona, brisca and bingo tournaments, 3×3 soccer in the street and a foosball competition.
