The Local Police of Cartagena arrested a man last Monday for an alleged crime of drug trafficking after finding more than 200 grams of hashish and 300 euros in cash among his clothes and inside his bag, according to municipal sources in a statement.
One of the patrols of the Urbanización Mediterráneo detected a man riding a scooter in the wrong direction. On noticing the police presence, the individual tried to escape along the pavement. After catching up with him, the officers discovered that the offender, aged about 35, was very nervous.
During the issuing of traffic tickets, narcotic substances were found in his bag and hidden in his underwear. After his arrest by the Cartagena Local Police he was taken to the National Police station.
