Maritime Rescue intercepted this Thursday three boats with 48 immigrants on board, two of them minors, in the waters of Cartagena (Murcia), according to sources from the Government Delegation in the region consulted by Europa Press.

The people travelling on the boats are presumably of Algerian nationality, and on their arrival on the coast of Cartagena they were in apparent good health.

Since last Monday, 14 August, a total of 18 small boats have arrived in the Region of Murcia with 267 people on board, 14 of them minors.
