
Four people who were on board a private sailboat have been injured with burns and taken to hospital when an explosion occurred on the boat, on the island of Fraile, on the beach of Hornillo, in the town of Águilas, according to the Emergency Coordination Centre.
The ‘1-1-2’ has received more than thirty calls this Sunday, from 20.08 hours, reporting the fire of the boat on the beach Amarilla and Hornillo, attached to the rocks.
The sailboat can only dock in the harbour where the Escala Real del Puerto Pesquero is located, where the Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) is on its way, awaiting the arrival of the four injured people.

Local Police from Águilas Town Council, a Rescue and Rescue boat, a Mobile Emergency Unit, two Advanced Life Support ambulances and an ambulance from the Primary Emergency Service of the Gerencia de Urgencias Emergencias Sanitarias 061 have been deployed to the scene.
They reported that the burnt boat is sinking. Medical personnel attended to 4 injured with burns ‘in situ’ and were subsequently transferred to the Burn Unit of the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia.
