112 manages more than 29,500 emergencies in Almeria during the first half of the year

Most of the incidents were health-related and related to public safety.

Emergencies 112 Andalusia has managed in the first half of the year a total of 29,519 incidents in the province of Almeria, a figure slightly higher than the same period last year when there were 28,696 alerts coordinated by the Single Phone of the Junta, according to the service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Board led by the Minister Antonio Sanz.

This trend reflects the awareness of the 112 number among citizens, the trust that Andalusians place in the service and the consolidation of this number as a reference in the event of emergencies and emergencies. This support is reflected in the results of the latest satisfaction survey conducted among users of the number, in which the public gave the overall management of the system an outstanding rating.

The main reason why citizens have called 112 in the first six months of the year has been for health issues (13,615), followed by those related to public safety (5,606); followed by traffic incidents (2. 541), traffic accidents (2,078), those related to animals (1,464) and fires (1,292); at a greater distance are emergencies associated with anomalies in basic services (529), rescue and salvage (314) and social services (298).

The province of Almería is among those with the quietest six months, along with Córdoba (28,738), Huelva (24,125) and Jaén (22,779). At the other extreme are Seville (102,986), Malaga (78,608), Cadiz (47,423) and Granada (47,420).

The volume of service alerts increases during holiday periods, coinciding with public holidays, popular festivals and special traffic operations. This is reflected in the fact that June is the month with the most coordinated emergencies, with 5,468 and May (5,238); the month with the fewest incidents was February (4,293).

By time slot, the period between 19:00 and 20:00 was the one with the highest number of alerts, with an average of over a hundred emergencies (122) in one hour.
