ONCE is going to dedicate next Wednesday’s draw, 30 August, to the Romería de la Virgen del Saliente de Albox.
The director of ONCE in Almería, María Jesús Segovia, presented this Wednesday the image of this coupon to the deputy for Equality and Family, Ana Lourdes Ramírez, and the rector of the Sanctuary, Antonio Jesús María Saldaña, in a ceremony that took place in the Sanctuary itself.
The presentation was attended by the councillor for the areas of Finance, Contracting, Subsidies and European Funds, Culture of Albox Town Council, Juan Domingo Navarro, the councillor for the areas of Sports, Tourism, Public Safety, Education and Special Infrastructures, Martín Martínez, the councillor for the areas of Presidency, Communication and Employment, María Luisa Granero Martínez, and the director of the ONCE in Huércal Overa, María José Gómez.

Five million coupons have as their central motif an image of the Virgin Mary with the Church in the background and the logo of the Town Hall of Albox, with which ONCE «wants to show off throughout Spain the rich heritage and culture of Albox», according to the director of the Organisation in the province.
Segovia stressed that this coupon «is also an invitation to all Andalusia and all of Spain to come to Albox to enjoy its most deeply rooted traditions that are a sign of identity of the people of Albox and Almeria» and congratulated herself because «the ONCE coupon, which is an instrument of solidarity with a real impact on improving the lives of the most vulnerable people in society, is also an element of projection and dissemination of the province of Almería at national level».
For her part, the Deputy for Equality and Family, Ana Lourdes Ramírez, thanked ONCE for the work they do in favour of inclusion while at the same time publicising unique sites and celebrations in our country such as the Pilgrimage of the Virgen del Saliente de Albox: «This coupon will take the image of our province throughout the country as the Casa del Cine or the Millares archaeological site have already done. The dissemination of our heritage is key for us to spread our history, our roots and promote pride in Almeria».
At the end of the event, the ONCE member Rocío García, who is totally blind, played Schubert’s Ave María on the piano.
The ONCE Daily Coupon offers a prize of 500,000 euros to the number plus the series, and 49 prizes of 35,000 euros to the five digits of the winning number. In addition: 450 prizes of 250 euros for the first four digits and another 450 prizes for the last four digits; 9,000 prizes of 25 euros for the last three or first three digits; and the same for the first two and last two (6 euros), and a 2-euro refund for the first or last digit of the winning number.
For its part, the Eurojackpot, the European mega-draw that ONCE sells in Spain with 17 other countries in the European Economic Area, offers this Friday, 25 August, a jackpot of XX million euros.
The ONCE coupons are part of the social, safe, responsible and supportive lottery products of the Organisation which, from their design to their commercialisation, implements controls to neutralise uncontrolled consumption, expressly prohibits the sale to minors or consumption on credit, among other measures. The Organisation maintains a responsibility towards citizens by promoting a responsible gambling policy with the most demanding evaluation and monitoring systems defined by the World Lottery Association and the European Lottery Association.
ONCE coupons are sold by more than 19,000 ONCE sales agents. They can also be purchased from www.juegosonce.es, and in authorised collaborating establishments.
