The Deputy Secretary for Rural Development, Water and Environment, Almudena Morales, has asked the people of Almeria to take extreme caution in the face of the high risk of forest fires in the province of Almeria, increased by the high temperatures that we have been suffering for days as a result of the heat wave.
Almudena Morales has highlighted the great work that the Infoca device is doing in the province of Almeria in terms of prevention and points out that «we must all take care of our mountains because they are small green lungs that contribute a lot to our province and that we have to protect and pamper so that we can all enjoy them and continue to be generators of life.
The deputy secretary of the PP has called for public cooperation and has pointed out that in case of observing negligent behaviour what Almerians have to do is call 112 and warn so that measures can be taken.

«I appeal to everyone’s responsibility so that in the province we do not have to lament serious damage caused by fire as is happening in other parts of Spain. We all know that illegal burning, barbecues and acts of incivility can cause serious damage to our mountains in summer, which is why I insist once again on the need for extreme caution,» she said.
Finally, Almudena Morales praised the work carried out by the Police Unit attached to the Plan Infoca, which has cleared up a total of 39 fires in Andalusia, three of which have occurred in the province of Almería.
