The National Police have arrested a 37-year-old man as the alleged owner of a farm located in Lorca (Murcia) where several weapons and various quantities of drugs were found hidden in an irrigation pipe, according to sources from the Corps in a statement.
The investigation led to the location of an individual who allegedly used his home in the Cazalla district for the storage and trafficking of cocaine, as well as to store the profits obtained from the sale of the drug.
The agents found that the users requested the dose by telephone and that the suspect, who has numerous previous convictions for various offences, delivered the drugs at an agreed point on the public highway.

As a result of the investigation, the home was entered and searched, where a parallel-barrelled shotgun in perfect condition was seized along with 175 cartridges, as well as another 51 cartridges of the 380 Auto calibre for short firearms and a machete-type knife with a blade of more than 15 centimetres.
Also found were 63 doses of cocaine ready for sale along with six grams of rock cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana buds, three hashish tablets weighing almost 350 grams, cash, two vehicles and two mobile phones.
In order to locate the drugs, the work of the Canine Guide Unit of the Murcia Police Headquarters was essential. After carrying out an intensive search of the property, they found a large part of the cocaine hidden, as well as part of the ammunition seized, inside an irrigation pipe.
The National Police proceeded to arrest the suspect, a Spanish national, who was charged with the alleged offences of drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, and placed him at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, who ordered him to be remanded in prison.
