The driver of a van lost control of the vehicle while driving through La Manga in the early hours of Friday morning and crashed into three parked vehicles. The accident did not leave any injuries, although there was considerable material damage. According to police sources, the driver tested negative for alcohol and blamed the accident on a lack of attention.
The incident occurred at around 6.15 a.m. on Gran Vía de La Manga, between kilometre 5 and 6, in the municipality of San Javier, according to the sources. The driver of the van, which was travelling from Cabo de Palos to La Manga, lost control of the vehicle and hit three parked cars in the area. The man escaped unhurt. Local police officers from San Javier were on the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident.
