In a recent investigation carried out by the Civil Guard of Almeria, the alleged commission of the crimes of injury, robbery with violence and intimidation and hatred, committed against a neighbour and owner of a business in the municipality of Albox (Almeria), is being investigated. With the result of the arrest of a person who is also charged with obstruction of justice and the investigation of another person who, after the commission of the acts, left the country.
The Guardia Civil became aware, at the end of June, through different complaints, that the victim presented to the Guardia Civil, where he informed the personnel in charge of the investigation that, together with his family, he was being the victim of different threats by two known persons, that he had been assaulted, requiring medical attention, that during the aggression he suffered the theft of a gold chain, that on another occasion, the perpetrators came to his business and after an argument, they caused damage to his household goods, and that all these events were motivated by different disagreements and intolerance towards the victim on the part of the perpetrators.
The Guardia Civil personnel in charge of the investigation, after taking different statements and through the use of different technological means, locate the perpetrators in the different places where the facts are committed. As a result of the investigations, which ended at the end of July, the Guardia Civil of the Command of Almeria, proceeds to the arrest in the municipality of Albox, of one of the accused, as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of obstruction of justice, injury, robbery with violence and intimidation and an alleged hate crime. Continuing with the investigations and the necessary steps to find out that the other perpetrator investigated is in Portugal. The investigation remains open until he is located.
