An outbreak of fire, which was quickly extinguished by the fire brigade, broke out after two o’clock this Tuesday afternoon at the waste plant located in the Terdiguera industrial estate in Albox.
According to sources from the Almanzora Levante Velez Consortium, who are responsible for the site, the fire broke out after the burning of old containers.
The column of smoke could be seen from the motorway, which alarmed the neighbours who were driving in the vicinity at that time, but the fire did not spread and did not cause any damage.
