Cosentino celebrates Architecture and Design Month

This internal corporate campaign has been translated into different activities and events promoted by the main “Cosentino City” in Spain.

Under the premise of driving relevant design that improves the quality of life, Cosentino is enthusiastically celebrating “Architecture and Design Month”. This global corporate campaign reflects the company’s firm commitment to both disciplines, leading its sector by anticipating society’s new needs and collaborating with bold professionals who challenge and improve established norms.

In this role as an ally, the “Cosentino City” in Spain become epicentres of knowledge, recognition and innovation during these weeks. These spaces have become meeting points for various activities related to architecture and design, coinciding with festivals such as Madrid Architecture Week and Barcelona Design Week.

Last Friday, at the Eugenio Trías Library in Madrid, the exhibition “Hands of Architecture” was inaugurated, a unique collection of portraits and captures of the hands of renowned Spanish and international architects and young promises of the sector. This exhibition, curated by Fearless magazine with the collaboration of Cosentino, paid tribute to these professionals by dressing the library with their artistic presence.

The programme continues with fascinating talks, such as the “Conversation with OHLAB studio” at Cosentino City Madrid, where Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver from OHLAB studio, a benchmark in passive architecture in Spain, will share their innovative ideas.

In Barcelona, Cosentino City has also joined the celebration. Events such as the conference on sustainability and water management with architect Enric Massip, and the “Design Crush” series of meetings organised by Slowkind, set the tone for meaningful discussions on the future of design.

This month will culminate with highlights such as a press breakfast and round table discussion on “Homes for Wellbeing” at Cosentino City Barcelona, exploring comfort, health and emotional wellbeing in our homes.

Cosentino City Málaga has also joined this celebration, presenting the works qualified with the ‘CCC’ category in Spain to the global guide to contemporary architecture, the C.guide, in collaboration with the Contemporary Architecture Foundation (FAC).

Thus, Cosentino’s “Architecture and Design Month” reveals itself as an exciting tribute to creativity, innovation and collaboration, where architecture and design come together in a vibrant dialogue, taking art and functionality to new heights.
