Urban renewal in Santiago de la Ribera receives 401,000 euros

The renovation works of urban services that are being carried out in the streets located between the Príncipe de Asturias park and the General Air Academy, in Santiago de la Ribera, with a budget of 401,000 euros, «are progressing at a good pace and are expected to be completed by Christmas». This was announced by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, who pointed out that these works are providing a response to the residents’ deficiencies in pavements and other services. The streets of Coronel Miguel Ivorra, Piragüista José Antonio Lucas, Acacias, Aguilar Amat and others will have their pavements renewed, totalling 2,200 square metres, with 5,500 square metres of asphalted roads. The works include the renovation of the drinking water supply, street lighting, sanitation, telecommunications and signposting.
