A good Wednesday morning holiday is what the residents of the Almanzora region have found to be able to go to the cemeteries of the different localities on the occasion of All Saints’ Day. As happens every year, today is a special day as families come to visit the graves of their loved ones, although there are neighbours who prefer to visit the cemeteries the days before to avoid crowds and to be in silence and tranquillity.
For weeks now, it has been common to see the workers of the different municipalities, decorating walls, gardens, entrances, painting and making general repairs to offer a more pleasant stay to visitors.
It is an important date in the regional calendar, where towns like Albox, celebrate their most representative and convoking festivity of the whole valley.
