A classic car rally, creativity workshops, theatre performances, book presentations, hiking in Bayárcal, competitions, games for the whole family and even activities from the Almería International Film Festival will take place in the municipality of Purchena during the month of November.
This wide variety of activities, together with the celebration of Halloween, is the letter of introduction for an end of the year that is full of activities for all audiences. The work of the Town Council, together with the collaboration of other institutions such as the Provincial Council of Almeria, as well as associations of the municipality, come to meet the objective of “recovering life in the village”, according to the municipal government team.
The Councillor for Culture, Lola Benito, said that “one of the demands of this new government team is to recover life in the town of Purchena, beyond key periods such as Christmas or Easter, in which we are obliged to improve our offer to provide a quality service.
Finally, Lola Benito, recalled that “throughout the month of November we can enjoy a wide variety of activities in which fun will be present, but also reflection on transcendental issues such as equality or the importance of reading in society”.
November activities

Monday 6th: Trip to the Balneario de Archena. Departure 7,15h from the bus stop.
Saturday 18: Los Molinos Trail in Bayárcal. Departure 09,30h from the bus stop.
Monday 20th: Children’s Rights Day.
Wednesday 22nd: Presentation of the book by María Ángeles Lomardi accompanied by the guitarist Gabriel. 19.30h at the Bar Triángulo.
Thursday 23rd: Cacerolada and Punto Violeta banner competition.
Friday 24: Pianist in front of the screen with Pablo Mazuecos. Activity as part of FICAL. 19.30h at the Espacio Escénico.
Monday 27: Theatre for Equality. 18.30h in the Espacio Escénico.
Tuesday 28th: Creativity workshop. 17.00h at the Senior Citizens’ Centre.
