
The Councilor for Social Rights and Family, María del Mar Pérez, today presented the 2023 Christmas School with a total of 180 free places that can be requested from today, November 6, until next Saturday, November 11. The School, “which aims to be a support for families who find themselves in the need to care for their sons and daughters on non-school days,” will operate on December 26, 27, 28, 29 and December 2, 3, 4 and January 5, 2024, with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., which may be extended to 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the request of families.
The School will operate during the Christmas holidays at the CEIP El Mirador, in El Mirador; CEIP Fulgencio Ruiz, in Santiago de la Ribera and CEIP “Joaquín Carrión”, in San Javier. The enrolled boys and girls will enjoy a varied educational leisure program with Christmas as the protagonist, for which they will have 10 monitors and another three as reinforcements, explained Francisco Valero, head of the company in charge of developing the School. Applications can be submitted until next Saturday, November 11, through the electronic office on the municipal website and in person at the City Council Registry, by appointment at 968 57 37 00 and at the Social Services Center Registry by appointment. prior call at 968 19 07 82. The documents to be provided will be the ID of the parents and the family book.
