The ‘Generation D’ programme boosts digital skills among residents in San Javier

The itinerant campaign ‘Generation D’, which aims to boost digital skills among citizens, will arrive in San Javier on 11, 12 and 13 December. One of the buses of the ‘Generation D’ fleet will be open to all residents on Avenida Aviación Española, near the Conservatory, so that they can test their knowledge of the subject through an immersive digital experience.

The interior of this mobile unit is equipped with technology that invites people to participate in practical activities to promote and encourage the development of digital skills. The initiative is open to everyone, completely free of charge and lasts between 30 and 40 minutes. The experience is completely personalised and tailored to the needs of each user.

Generation D’, will arrive in San Javier on 11, 12 and 13 December.

Therefore, visitors will start by taking a self-diagnostic test to find out their level of digital knowledge, and then go through a wide variety of games and activities at all levels: from learning how to carry out an optimal internet search to avoiding ‘fake news’, optimising the use of social networks or managing their digital identity. The ‘Generation D’ campaign is funded by the ‘Next Generation’ European Funds.
