The Guardia Civil de la Comandancia de Almería, on the 5th, helped a person who was unconscious inside a bungalow located in a campsite in Albox.
Through the Command and Control Services Centre of the Almeria Civil Guard Command, a patrol that was carrying out preventive and public safety work, received a call to go to a campsite located in the municipality of Albox, as it was suspected that inside a bungalow there was a person who was not responding to calls and could be in danger.
The Guardia Civil patrol on duty moved to the place with the utmost urgency, on arrival they could see that the door of the bungalow was locked, that a dog was barking inside and that nobody was answering the calls. In the same way, inspecting the place, through a window, which is closed, they can see that there is a person lying on a sofa and that this person does not respond to the request of the agents.

Immediately, and fearing for the victim’s health, the Guardia Civil personnel access the interior of the bungalow by forcing the window, at which point they see that the victim is unconscious, not responding to any stimulus and with irregular and weak breathing, and they also notice the existence of several boxes of medication, which is why they urgently request the assistance of medical personnel. During the brief wait for the arrival of the medical personnel, they secured the man and placed him in the lateral safety position.
After the assistance and request of the emergency medical services, the victim was attended to and transferred to the Torrecardenas Hospital Centre in Almeria.
It should be noted that a few days after this action, the victim’s relatives contacted the Civil Guards to thank them for their actions and to let them know that the medical personnel who attended to the injured man informed them that thanks to their actions, the patient’s life was saved.
