The arrival of the Saharan dust mass in the Region of Murcia has an impact on air quality

The Regional Ministry of Health warns of the arrival of a mass of Saharan dust in the Region of Murcia this Monday, urging the adoption of precautions to protect people at risk. Intense physical activity, both indoors and outdoors, should be avoided, especially for those with respiratory problems.

Patients with breathing difficulties or cardiac symptoms are advised to consult a health professional and prioritise short, less demanding outings.

The most vulnerable people engaged in outdoor activities should wear FPP2 masks as a protective measure.

It is advised to avoid travelling on and around main roads during periods of dust concentration, usually in the early and late hours of the day.
