The Regional Ministry of Development and Infrastructures of the Region of Murcia has informed that the regional road RM-19, Mar Menor motorway, as it passes through Balsicas, will have only one lane in each direction in the next few days due to the construction works of the new structures for the railway that Adif is carrying out.

To be precise, the regional road RM-19 will have only one lane in each direction on its way through the district of Balsicas (Torre Pacheco), in approximately 2 kilometres (between kilometre points 15 and 17), according to sources from the regional government in a press release.

This restriction will last until 15 June, when the two lanes in each direction of the road will be back in service. This cut is necessary in order to carry out the first of the railway structures.

Once the summer period is over, the traffic restriction will be re-established on 15 September, so that there will only be one lane in each direction on the road. All this is necessary in order to build the second structure over the railway, which is being carried out by the public business entity Adif.
