The Zurgena Town Hall has awarded «a significant grant» of 10,700 euros to the Ermita del Calvario for the purpose of carrying out essential works for its conservation and improvement.
In a gesture of recognition, Mayor Domingo Trabalon expressed his «deep appreciation for the dedicated work of the association’s board, extending special recognition for their commitment and leadership in this project».
Mr Trabalon stressed the importance of supporting initiatives that strengthen the cultural and heritage fabric of Zurgena, underlining the historical relevance of the Ermita del Calvario. The mayor emphasised that support for projects such as this not only contributes to the enrichment of the environment, but also strengthens the sense of community by joining forces for the common good.
