The investigation team of the Guardia Civil of Albox has arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of serious injuries that caused the loss of one of his eyes to a man after a strong argument that occurred in a nightlife establishment in the aforementioned town of Almeria.
The Guardia Civil became aware of the facts following a complaint lodged by the victim on 16 January. The aggression took place in the early hours of 7 January and was triggered after the victim, a man, reproached a group of young people for the strong smell of a cigarette they were smoking inside the establishment.
Upon noticing the situation, the owner of the establishment reprimanded the group of young people, who moved to another entertainment area available on the premises. Hours later and at a time when the victim was going to the toilets of the establishment, the aggressor waited for her to leave and hit her in the face with a bottle, which he had previously broken, causing her serious injuries, and as a result of this aggression, a strong argument broke out between the groups present in the establishment. Due to the seriousness of the incident, the owner of the establishment tried to clear the premises and immediately assisted the victim, who had been left semi-conscious after the aggression.

Once he received the first medical assistance, the victim was taken to the Hospital La Inmaculada de Huércal Overa, where he underwent emergency surgery due to the seriousness of the injuries he had suffered to his face.
The Guardia Civil focused its investigation on locating the alleged perpetrator. After the analysis of all the information that agents of the Albox investigation team had gathered at the scene, as well as the different interviews and enquiries in order to clarify the facts, they were able to determine the identity of the perpetrator, and as a result of this intervention, the Guardia Civil of Almeria has arrested a man, identified as B.R.M., as the author of a crime of injury. Both the proceedings and the arrested person have been placed at the disposal of the Juzgado de Guardia de Huércal Overa.
