A young man managed to escape from the agents who took him out of the Carnival marquee in Mazarrón, where he was shouting at people in an obvious state of drunkenness, according to witnesses and police sources. The boy, of Senegalese origin, came to struggle with the agents and, although he fled, being identified and located, he faces a financial penalty, explain the same sources.
The events took place last Shrove Tuesday night, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón. The subject, who showed clear signs of being under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances, was disturbing neighbours and visitors, who were enjoying the party. On becoming aware of what this individual was doing, two Local Police officers, who were on the scene to ensure the safety of the event, approached the young man and proceeded to remove him from the marquee.
A video recorded by one of the people who witnessed the incident shows how the two officers proceed to guard the boy. At one point, however, he makes a sort of attempt to bend his knees, at which point the police officers grab him so that he does not fall to the ground: a struggle then begins in which the officers do not use excessive force or injure the boy in custody.

They end up on the ground
The three men end up on the ground after the struggle. The person who witnessed the incident continues recording with his mobile phone and the video shows how the boy manages to free himself and runs away.
In his attempt to escape, the young man falls to the ground again. He is chased by the officers, but finally makes a run for it and leaves. As he had not committed any offence, the police officers decided not to go after him, as their priority was to return to check that everything was in order in the marquee, where a large number of people were still partying.
The boy was identified and has a known address in the coastal town, so he will not escape a fine for his attitude: he is accused of provoking public disorder. However, there are no circumstances for him to be investigated for assault on authority, as, although he struggled with the officers, at no point did he hit or injure any of them. The young man did not suffer any injuries either.
