The Prosecutor’s Office sends the investigation into the Fuente Alamo rave to Cartagena

The regional vice-president, José Ángel Antelo, filed a complaint against the Government Delegation and the town council for «passive action» in the face of «allegedly illegal» activities.

The senior prosecutor of Justice of the Region of Murcia has deferred to the Cartagena Area Prosecutor’s Office in the investigation of the ‘rave’ of Fuente Álamo held for several days in the municipality to celebrate the entry into the year 2024.

It was the regional vice-president and councillor for the Interior, Emergencies and Territorial Planning, José Ángel Antelo, who filed a complaint against the Government Delegation in the Region and the Fuente Álamo Town Hall for maintaining a «passive attitude towards the allegedly illegal activities» that were committed during the illegal party held in the speed circuit of the town.

Antelo pointed out that in this meeting «crimes against public health, illegal sale of alcoholic beverages, food and assistance of minors could have been committed».

The prosecutor José Luis Díaz Manzanera understands that it is the Cartagena area that is territorially competent, since Fuente Álamo belongs to this judicial district.
