Provincial Council trains Albox business people in social networks

The aim is for companies to optimise their digital visibility.

The Provincial Council of Almeria, through the Acelera Pyme Rural Dipalme Office project, with the aim of promoting and encouraging the digital transformation of companies in Almeria, has held a practical workshop in Albox under the title ‘Impact and conquer in social networks’. This is an initiative promoted through European Next Generation Funds with the aim of fixing companies in rural areas by strengthening its implementation in the online universe, while boosting the economy of Almeria.

The presentation of the workshop was attended by the Provincial Council for European Fundraising and Entrepreneurship, José Juan Martínez and the Mayoress of Albox, María del Mar Alfonso, who were accompanied by members of the municipal corporation, as well as mayors and representatives of other municipalities and entities in the area. The workshop was attended by around thirty participants, including micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as freelancers and entrepreneurs from the province of Almeria.

The Acelera pyme Offices launched throughout Spain by Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry of Digital Transformation through the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, have an overall budget of 23.8 million euros, of which Red.es will provide up to 80% of the eligible budget and the beneficiary entities the rest. The actions are financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through the Next Generation EU funds, within the framework of the Digital Spain 2026 agenda and the SME Digitalisation Plan 2021-2025, whose fourth measure of the «Basic digitalisation for SMEs» axis of action includes the creation of a network of Acelera pyme offices.

The Provincial Council for European Fundraising has highlighted the importance of this project and the benefit that small businesses can get from it by helping them to enhance their digital presence and social networks, «it is a powerful tool to fix the population in smaller municipalities and strengthen the provincial economy». For her part, the mayoress of Albox, stressed this idea and reminded the participants of all the resources that this project puts at their disposal and thanked the workshop to be held in Albox.

The workshop, in which Laura Valero, technician of the Office Acelera Pyme Rural Provincial Council of Almeria and Citlalli Orozco, from Nómadas Publicidad, have intervened, has dealt with how to plan an effective communication strategy in social networks of a business.
