
The National Police have dismantled in Los Alcázares a laboratory dedicated to the production of the drug known as ‘rosin’, obtained from marijuana. The operation has resulted in the arrest of 17 people of different nationalities.
The organisation managed six important marijuana plantations, as well as two cannabis associations in the Region of Murcia, distributing narcotic substances through different channels. In fact, they had vehicles prepared with double bottoms to transport vacuum-packed marijuana buds to other provinces in Spain.
The police operation has resulted in the arrest of 17 people.
Rosin’ is obtained through the transformation of marijuana buds with the extraction of cannabis by means of different procedures of temperature, pressure and time variation, obtaining solid and liquid products that could be used for vaping. The police have seized all the instruments used in the dismantled laboratory to carry out this process.

Guns and frequency inhibitors
During the investigation, the agents carried out eleven searches in different parts of the Region of Murcia where the criminal gang operated, in which they seized a stun gun, GPS locator beacons, frequency inhibitors, two compressed air pistols, and even a National Police waistcoat used on a regular basis to carry out drug ‘dumps’.
