Provincial Council organises five creativity and innovation workshops for female entrepreneurs

The Almeria Provincial Council aims to energise the network of businesswomen in Almeria REDEA and to train businesswomen, therefore, a total of five workshops on creativity and innovation in business have been programmed.

These workshops aim to promote entrepreneurial activity, creativity and innovation among businesswomen. The workshops will focus on fostering innovation in companies in an effective and successful way. Applying design thinking, finding creative solutions, generating innovative ideas are the keys that make a business adapt better than the rest to the current market.

The Deputy for Equality and Family, María Luisa Cruz, welcomed the first participants and wished them the best of luck in these workshops: “We are launching the creative and innovation workshops for our network of businesswomen in the province of Almería, REDEA. They are a fundamental pillar in the economic and social development of the province”.

“These training workshops are of great importance because they equalise opportunities in the 103 municipalities. So the Almeria Provincial Council, through the REDEA network and these workshops, we train businesswomen so that they can create new opportunities within their companies,” added the deputy for Equality and Family.

The aim of this activity is to enable both businesswomen and entrepreneurs to design and structure their business projects. Each workshop is divided into two 4-hour theoretical and practical sessions, so that they can develop an individual plan focused on their business activity, creativity and innovation.

This will create a space for interactive learning and exchange of experiences with practical tools and a business guide as accompanying material for the realisation of their business projects. Each entrepreneur will be given a guide that includes key topics on business strategies, rural marketing, success stories and resources available in rural areas.

In addition, remote advice will be provided to each businesswoman or entrepreneur for the development of her action plan. They will have continuous support through a remote advisory service, with personalised follow-up and resolution of doubts to structure and plan their business projects.

A total of five workshops will be held in four counties with a total of 40 hours. The first one is being held this Monday and is aimed at female entrepreneurs and businesswomen from Almería and nearby municipalities. The maximum number of students per workshop is 15.
