The sub-delegate of the Government in Almería, José María Martín Fernández, has made an institutional visit to the municipality of Serón, where he highlighted the Government’s investments in this town, which amount to 297,000 euros in the Agricultural Employment Promotion Plan, PFEA, in the DUS 5000 programme and in the Industrial Entrepreneurship Support Programme, Cersa, in this town.
Together with the mayor of Serón, Manuel Domene, the sub-delegate made a technical visit to the works that are currently part of the PFEA, which are focused on the maintenance of public spaces and the completion of urban developments in this municipality and which, within the Income Guarantee Programme, amount to 99,000 euros. In Serón, the DUS 5000 Programme is also being carried out with a budget of around 133,000 euros within the framework of the Regeneration and Demographic Challenge Programme of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
The sub-delegate also highlighted the support for companies in the meat industry which “in Serón are fundamental within the productive sector and which have been backed by the Government through the Cersa programme which aims to promote entrepreneurship or the growth of smaller industrial companies, improving their access to financing to expand or improve their competitiveness”.
For his part, the mayor of this municipality has thanked “the commitment of the Government of Spain with Serón that we can see in the various programs currently underway and that result in better services for citizens. In addition, Domene has assured that “for the municipalities of the interior it is essential to have the support and collaboration of the administrations that support fixing the population to generate resources and new opportunities for growth”.
