Costa de Almería’ opens its frontiers with two working days in Zaragoza and Toledo

Costa de Almería’ is carrying out an intense agenda in different Spanish cities to promote the Almeria destination, both nationally and internationally. Thus, the Provincial Tourism Service has been in the Professional Conference in Zaragoza and in the Inverse Conference of Marketing Support in Toledo to put in contact the demand of the issuing countries with the tourist offer of Almeria.

The vice-president and deputy for Tourism, Fernando Giménez, has highlighted the value of these last two conferences, which complement the intense agenda that ‘Costa de Almería’ is developing to position itself as the best tourist destination in the country: “These conferences serve to explore possibilities and open up to more professionals in the tourism sector to continue crossing borders”.

“Almeria is the best tourist destination in Spain, and we prove it with our magnificent beaches and our wonderful natural resources that, combined with our gastronomy, our sports offer and the good weather that accompanies us, make it the ideal place for tourists and visitors 365 days a year,” added Fernando Giménez.

Costa de Almería’ has been present at the Professional Conference in Zaragoza. The aim of this working meeting is to put the business offer in contact with local operators in the city.

In these professional meetings and with the help of the promotion technicians, the Travel Agencies are given a tour of the whole province. The aim has been to convey and teach these prescribers par excellence that Costa de Almeria is a destination where you can enjoy experiences, and that it is a destination that, given the diversification of existing tourism products, allows for sustainable development of the sector, where cultural tourism, sports and food and wine tourism go hand in hand.

On the other hand, the Provincial Tourism Service of Almeria has also participated in the reverse days of marketing support to be held in the city of Toledo. The aim of these conferences, organised by TURESPAÑA, was to bring the demand of the issuing countries into contact with the Spanish tourist offer, in order to explore the business possibilities that will result in an increase in the arrivals of European tourists to our country and their spending at their destination, from the perspective of environmental, economic and cultural sustainability, working on the deseasonalisation and deconcentration of tourist demand and the diversification of the markets of origin.

During the three days of the conference, buyers and sellers shared a commercial programme with social activities to encourage interaction. With the participation of the Provincial Tourism Service in these conferences, the tourism promotion of the destination ‘Costa de Almería’ continues with the professionals of the tourism sector at an international level.
