The municipality of Fines will celebrate its first band competition this coming July 20. A competition that is open to all styles such as ska, metal, punk, indie and the wide range of rock, which in the Almanzora region has many followers.
Fines is one of the few towns in the area that has an association of musicians (Kin Mundo Farándula) which the city council supports with free rehearsal spaces and promoting this type of initiatives.
In this municipality located in the heart of the Almanzora region, The Juergas Rock was born, the most rocking festival in the province that currently takes place in Adra and last year the Gusi Festival was born.
That is why all those bands interested in participating in this first contest that offers prizes of 1,000, 500 and 350 euros respectively to the first three finishers, can register until June 15 by sending the group’s dossier to mamusicprojects@gmail.com or calling by phone to the Town Hall of Fines.
Entry to the contest on the day of the festival for attendees is free.
